Invoices
Where to find your Together tax invoices, and how to save them as a PDF.
Together issues you a tax invoice for what you pay us. You'll find them under Settings → Invoices (admins only). Each invoice is a web page you can open and print to PDF for your records.
The kinds of invoice
| Type | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Platform fees | The platform and processing fees for a month, dated the 5th of the next month. |
| Subscription | Your monthly Together plan (Grow or Raise), on each renewal. |
| Compliance | The Caps & Disclosure Monitoring add-on, kept on its own invoice. |
Each kind has its own number series, and Compliance is kept on a separate invoice from your plan, so you can file each one apart for your records.
What's on an invoice
Every invoice is a valid Australian tax invoice: it shows Together's details and ABN, the invoice date, a description of what you're being charged for, and the GST. Together has already charged your payment method on file (for subscriptions) or deducted the fees from your donation settlements (for platform fees), so each invoice is marked Paid, with nothing more to pay. A subscription invoice also shows the method it was actually charged to — a card, or BECS Direct Debit with the last four digits of the account.
If a donation is refunded or charged back before its month's invoice is issued, it drops off that invoice. Once the invoice is issued it is never restated, so a refund or chargeback after that date leaves it exactly as it stands.
To save an invoice as a PDF, open it from Settings → Invoices by clicking its number, then use your browser's Print (Cmd/Ctrl + P) and choose "Save as PDF".
A platform-fee invoice covers the gifts given in that month, whichever month they paid out in - so it won't match a month of payouts row for row. It is dated the 5th of the following month so that all of the previous month's card fees have finished settling before the invoice is issued.
